This past week, like so many others, I watched Sabrina Carpenter’s upcoming album cover drop. I gave it a once over, there she was on all fours…with a coy doe-eyed look. The following image, a Pomeranian with a fresh engraved tag that reads “Man’s Best Friend”.
I giggled ever so softly. I loved it.
I have been involved in the leather community for the better half of 20 years. I have been to play parties, maintained formal D/s dynamics, taught courses about kink, I’ve been on panels, and written erotica. Over the past two decades there have been a number of kinks I have partaken in or witnessed take place. Not to mention the countless classes, books, and mentorships I have had. To say that I’m an expert is a tall glass of water, but let’s just say it is not uncommon for me to be a more seasoned player in a room filled with kinksters…
Needless to say, I was quick to speak up about Sabrina’s album the minute the criticism plagued the internet. In classic vanilla fashion I saw similar sentiments:
“how vulgar!”
“this is setting feminism back!”
“way to keep it classy, Sabrina”
Sex positive colleagues and sensualists were quick to release their thoughts on Threads, myself included.
Two digital disputes and one block later, I couldn’t shake the fact that there was work to be done. Throughout that evening I received messages from the divine that this was a subject with a void. “It’s time for you to educate people from your lens on what the world of BDSM is all about…” the familiar voice of my higher self expressed. ⛓️
I did an energetic check via Threads, which told me everything I needed to know: people want to learn about sex magic AND BDSM.
BDSM has never been dirty nor is it wrong for women to enjoy sex. With Safe, Sane, Consensual being at the core of the Kink world; the world of D/s (Dominance and submission) has always been a subculture that I am deeply passionate about. I have been involved with the community for nearly 20 years from teaching in person workshops, to being a demo sub, to being a pro Domme, to having a Dom. Over the years I have seen the leather community become just a bit more ‘normalized’ (begrudging thank you to 50 Shades of Grey I suppose…ick). However there is still much work to be done, particularly from the lens of a queer black sapphic witch. It is my time to shine, amplify, and out myself as a subject matter expert in the world of all things stingy, delightful, and utterly embodied.
With the help of my spirit team and deities, I crafted up a landing page in a mere 2 hours; essentially by using trance mediumship to curate a workshop that would satiate my current community and others who have a thirst for the glorious practice of sex magic and the insatiable appetite to learn about shadow work BDSM. I can promise you one thing, you’ve never taken a BDSM workshop like this one.
I invite you to take my hand and plunge into the worlds of the esoteric and the erotic. Join me for a transformative 3 week workshop on all things: Sex Magic. We start on July 25th. ✨
Welcome to the Dreamest Digital Dungeon, sex witches.
